
Lead Paint & Asbestos Management Course
Equipping painting professionals with the skills and knowledge to safely manage hazardous materials commonly
encountered in the industry. By focusing on best practices for handling lead-based paints and non-friable asbestos,
participants will learn to minimize risks to themselves, their team and the surrounding environment.
This course is nationally accredited through and facilitated by TAFE Gippsland.
On completion of the course, these units will have obtained:
CPCCPD3031 – Work safely with lead painted surfaces in the painting industry
CPCCPD3036 – Work safely to encapsulate non-friable asbestos in the painting industry
CPCCWHS2001 – Apply WHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry
